ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: AGP of Rs.8000/-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch/discipline with a very good academic record throughout. Candidate should have at least 3 years industrial / research / teaching experience excluding however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
DISCIPLINES: (i) Computer Engineering (ii) Electronics Engineering (iii) Mechanical Engineering (iv) Engineering Design.
PAY SCALE: Pay band-3 -Rs.15600/-39100/-+ AGP of Rs.6000/ Rs.7000 / Rs. 8000/- Gross Emoluments per month as on Dec 2013 including AGP, DA, TA and HRA is approximately: 90000/-.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR on contractual basis: The applicants who are not eligible for direct recruitment and possessing Ph.D. degree may be placed in the Pay Band -3- Rs.15600/-39100/- +AGP of Rs.6000/- with seven non-compoundable advance increments. After completion of one year they shall be eligible for AGP of Rs.7,000/- per month Gross Emoluments per month as on Dec 2013 including AGP, DA, TA and HRA is approximately: 64000/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Age preferably below 35 years.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age would be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
