NOTIFICATION: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites filled in applications for the recruitment to vacancies in Lower Division Grade reserved for regularly appointed Group “C” Staff in the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- for which written test will be held on 23-03-2014 (Sunday) a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for (i) Central Secretariat Clerical Service (ii) Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service (iii) Grade VI of the I.F.S. Branch “B” Clerical Service (iv) Central Vigilance Commission Clerical Service and (v) Ministry of Railway(Railway Board) from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 07-02-2014.

POSTS WISE DETAILS: Lower Division Clerk Posts-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or its equivalent as on 01-01-2014 from any recognized Board/ University in the Indian Union., The candidates must have rendered not less than three year’s regular service as a Group-C employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- as on 01-01-2014.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age must not be more than 45 years as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.
PAY SCALE: Selected candidates will get Rs.5200/- Pay Scale with Rs.1800/- Grade Pay per month.
REQUIRED FEE: Refer official notification.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Shortlisted eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test/Typing test.
