NOTIFICATION: Supplement to the Commission’s Notification/Advertisement No. 1/2014 Dated 06-02-2014 for the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination –II (Non-Interview Posts) (Group-II A Services) (Service Code No. 004), Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites online application for the direct recruitment of 577 Accountant (Treasuries and Accounts Department) and Assistant (Forest Department) vacancies through Combined Civil Services Examination-II from Male/Female Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 30-04-2014.
Candidates can download detail advt. /notification from official website for recruitment information like required age/ reservation in age/ required education qualification/ required application fee/ reservation for posts/ syllabus/ date of test/last date to apply/number of posts/name of department/ mode of selection/ how to apply and other instructions.
POST WISE DETAILS: 577 Accountant & Assistant posts through Combined Civil Services Examination-II-
A- Accountant (Treasuries and Accounts Department): 469 Posts.
B- Assistant (Forest Department): 108 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduation OR its equivalent qualification in Commerce/ Arts/ Science from a recognized University/Institute. Refer official notification.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age must be in between 18 years and 30 years as on 01-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: Selected candidates will get salary in pay scale of Rs.5200/-20200/-+ Grade pay Rs.2800/-.
REQUIRED FEE: General and other unreserved category candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.175/- as an application fee through Online/ Offline mode and SC/ST and other reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs.50/- as an application fee on OR up to 02-05-2014. Fee should be paid through said mode.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Shortlisted candidates will be selected as per their performance in written examination/ oral test and interview.
HOW TO APPLY: For this post eligible and interested candidates must apply online through official website up to 30-04-2014. Candidates must keep a hard copy of online submitted application form which will be required to be brought by the candidate if called for at the time of Interview along with all original documents with spare sets of attested photocopies of all certificates.
