1- Professor: 48 Posts.
2- Additional Professor: 39 Posts.
3- Associate Professor: 76 Posts.
4- Assistant Professor: 90 Posts.
5- Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Nursing: 10 Posts.
6- Tutor/Clinical Instructor: 33 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Refer below given details-
MEDICAL CANDIDATES- A passed of medical qualification (e.g. MBBS) included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act. of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)/ Postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. And/or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical super specialities (2 years OR 3 years OR 5 years recognized course) OR equivalent qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
NON MEDICAL CANDIDATES- A passed of Post graduate qualification OR equivalent qualification e.g. Master degree in the concerned discipline/ doctorate degree (Ph. D) from a recognized University.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/LECTURER IN NURSING- A passed of Masters OR equivalent qualification Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization in Nursing/Registered Nurse/Midwife in nursing council/Five years ‘experience with a minimum of two years teaching experience in nursing staff.
TUTOR/CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR- A passed of B.Sc. Nursing OR equivalent qualification Degree from a recognised Institution/University/ Registered Nurse/Midwife in nursing council/Three years of experience in teaching in any medical Institution. Masters Degree in Nursing and Independent published work in international/national indexed Journals is desirable.
REQUIRED AGE: The Max age limit for these posts is as- 50 years for Assistant Professor & Associate Professor/ 58 years for Additional Professor & Professor as on 06-05-2014.
The Max age limit for these posts is as- Faculty Posts (Nursing) not exceeding 50 years for Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Nursing and Tutor/Clinical Instructor as on 06-05-2014.
However the max age limit will be further relaxable for contractual appointments on any position as per Government of India/AIIMS, New Delhi rules/regulations. Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: A- Pay Scale of Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.10,500/- per month for Professor, AGP of Rs.9,500/- per month for Additional Professor and AGP of Rs.9,000/- per month for Associate Professor posts.
B- Pay Scale of Rs.15,600/- to Rs.39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs.8,000/- per month for Assistant Professor, AGP of Rs. 6,600/- per month for Lecturer in Nursing/Assistant Professor and AGP of Rs.5,400/- per month for Tutor/Clinical Instructor posts.
REQUIRED FEE: An application fee of Rs.500/-by General & OBC category candidates and Rs 100/-by SC/ST category candidates per post to be paid through NEFT/online transfer through online application portal OR through demand draft.
