1- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: 39 (Thirty Nine) posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600/-39100/- +AGP Rs. 6000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of M.tech Degree with first class at bachelor or Master’s / Equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of engineering / technology with a very good academy record throughout.
2- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 11 (Eleven) posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400/-67000/- +AGP Rs. 9000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of P.hD Degree with first class at bachelor or Master’s / Equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of engineering / technology with a very good academy record throughout.
3- PROFESSOR: 07 (Seven) posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400/-67000/- +AGP Rs. 10000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of Ph.D Degree with first class at bachelor or Master’s / Equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of engineering / technology with a very good academy record throughout.
REQUIRED AGE: Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A Demand Draft of Rs 500/- by General & unreserved category candidates drawn in favour of “NIFFT, Ranchi” and payable at any nationalized bank in Ranchi for each application and 50% by SC / ST category candidates & women & PWD candidates are fully exempted of paying application fee.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Interview. Institute will further make the criteria on the recommendations of the Scrutiny committee to arrive at a reasonable number of candidates to be called for interview for each Department.
