NOTIFICATION: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC), invites online applications for the recruitment of various posts through West Bengal PSC Civil Service Recruitment Examination- 2014 on Direct Recruitment Basis from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 30-04-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of degree OR its equivalent qualification of a recognized University/ ability to read, write and speak Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling, i.e. for Nepali speaking candidates).
PAY SCALE: As per Govt. rules.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should be in between 21 years to 32 years as on 01-01-2014. Those candidates whose date of birth lies between 01-01-1993 & 01-01-1994 (i.e. whose age is between 20 and 21 years as on 01-01-2014) may apply for Group “B” post only. Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: Applicants must enclose with the application a fee of Rs. 210/- only by General & OBC category candidates through (i) Online Mode, (ii) Offline Mode/Counter Payment by a challan form downloaded during registration for applying online in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online Application Form. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is “0051-00-105-001-16”.
Candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities specified under Persons with Disabilities Rules, 1999 are not required to pay any fee.
