NOTIFICATION; The Indian Navy invites online application for the recruitment of  various vacancies of  Permanent Commissioned Officer (unmarried Male) in Logistics Cadre and unmarried Female candidates for Short Service Commission in Education Branch and Air Traffic Control Course (ATC) for the batch starting in Dec 2014 at Naval Academy (NAVAC) Ezhimala, Kerala from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 04-05-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:  Refer qualification given below-

PERMANENT COMMISSION (Logistics Cadre): A passed with Minimum 60% marks in-

1. B.COM/M.COM.

2. BA/MA (Economics).

3. BBA/MBA.

4. BBM/BMS.

5. BCA/MCA.

6. B.Sc. (IT)/M. Sc (IT).

7. B.Tech/B.E (any discipline).

8. Graduate Degree with Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Materials Management.

9. ICWA.

10. Chartered Accountancy.

WORKS:  A passed with Minimum 60% marks in- BE/B. Tech Civil Engineering OR B. Architecture from a recognized University.

EDUCATION: A passed of Post Graduate with 50% marks & 60% for Under Graduate from a recognized University-  

(1) M.Sc Physics (with Maths in B. Sc).

(2) M.Sc Maths (with Physics in B. Sc).

(3) M.Sc Chemistry.

(4) M.A (English or History).

(5) MCA (Physics or Maths at Graduation Level)/BE/B Tech/M Tech in any of the following disciplines- 

• Mechanical.

• Electronics & Communication.

• Electrical & Electronics.

• Electronics & Instrumentation.

• Electronics & Tele Communication.

• Electrical.

• Computer Science.

• Information & Technology.

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER (ATC): A passed of Post Graduate with 55% marks & 60% for Under Graduate candidates from a recognised University. OR

B.Sc. in Physics/Maths or Electronics OR M.sc in Physics/Maths or Electronics.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

Logistics//Works	6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6,6/12 with glass (should not be colour/night blind).	Male - 157 Cms. with correlated weight.
Education	6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6,6/12 with glass (should not be colour/night blind).	Male - 157 Cms, Female – 152 cms. with correlated weight.
ATC	6/9, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glass (should not be colour/night blind).	Male - 157 Cms, Female – 152 cms. with correlated weight.

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE:  An amount of Rs. 25/- as an application fee to be paid by General, OBC and other unreserved category candidates. Application fee should be deposited in any branch of SBI by cash or using net banking OR can be paid by Visa/Debit/Credit card.

 

SC/ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying of fee.

PAY SCALE: PB-3-Rs.15600/-39000/-+GP Rs. 5400/-+MSP Rs.6000/-.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and divorced woman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test/PET/medical and group discussion/Interview.

Print two copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Application Number. One copy of this Application Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to: (Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan PO, New Delhi - 110011)  along with the following documents- Self attested photograph, photo copies of 10th & 12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years attested by gazetted officer.
