NOTIFICATION: NCSCM, has been established by the Society of Integrated Coastal Management (SICOM) of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India to develop world class knowledge base in India, related to management of the coastal and marine areas. The National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) invites filled in application for the recruitment of 42 vacant posts of Scientists, Engineers, Operators and Assistants posts on Contract / Deputation Basis for a period up to December 2015 with a possible extensions from Male/Female Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through offline application up to 15-05-2014. AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE:   No Fee is to be paid by candidates for these posts.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Shortlisted candidates will be selected as per their performance in Trade Test/ Personal Interview and for positions where large numbers of applications are received, if need be, additionally a trade test will be conducted
