NOTIFICATION: Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) invites offline applications for the recruitment of 222 Faculty Posts of Assistant Professors-cum-junior-Scientist vacancies from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply offline at official website up to 06-06-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 222 Posts of Assistant Professors-cum-junior-Scientist-
1- PG.Department (A): 06 posts -03-UR, 01-EBC, 01-SC, 01-BC.
2- PG.Department (B): 106 posts - 53-UR, 19-EBC, 17-SC, 13-BC, 03-RCF, 01-ST.
3-PG.Department (C): 110 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Master Degree in relevant subjects from recognized University and should be NET clearance certificate.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100/-+AGP 6000/-+ dearness allowance and other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant must refer official notification for age requirement.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per Govt. rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable, A/C Payee Demand Draft Payable at State Bank of India, Sabour Branch (Code no. 11805) for Rs. 450.00 only for General/BC/EBC/RCF candidates and Rs. 150.00 only for SC/ST candidates of Bihar drawn in favour of the “Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur)” to be attached along with application form. POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The applicant will be selected on the basis of written Exam and Interview.
