REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with not less than 65% marks in aggregate for Unreserved & Other Backward Class and 55% of marks for SC/ST/PWD category candidates taking average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University from a recognized University. For Computer Science discipline candidates having three years full time regular course of MCA with 65% of marks in aggregate for Unreserved & Other Backward Class & 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD in both graduation and post graduation level are also eligible to apply.
Candidate in the final year of their Engineering/MCA may also apply. However, their cases will be considered only if, he/she passed the said examination with requisite percentage of marks at the time of his/her personal interview.
NOTE: Only GATE-2014 score is valid for this recruitment process.
NALCO will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering- 2014 scores (GATE-2014 scores) for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs).
PAY SCALE: Rs.16400 - 3% - 40500/- during one year training. After successful completion of training candidates will be absorbed as Junior Manager at E1 grade in the pay scale of Rs.24900-3%-50500/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s max age should not exceed 30 years as on 30-06-2014 i.e. candidates born before 30-06-1984 need not to apply.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: Refer official notification.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The applicant will be selected on the basis of the GATE-2014 Score and Organizational requirement, the candidates will be short listed for Personal Interview.
