NOTIFICATION: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), invites online applications for the recruitment of  11 non teaching posts of Senior Laboratory Assistant (Stores)/ Laboratory Assistant / Technical Assistant / Deputy Librarian/ Personal Assistant- Group – B and Security Assistant – Group C from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested, candidates can apply online mode up to 19-05-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: 1- SENIOR LABORATORY ASSISTANT (STORES): A passed of Matriculation OR its equivalent qualification with Science subjects and 10 years verifiable working experience OR 10+2 with Science subjects with 8 years verifiable working experience.

2- LABORATORY ASSISTANT: A passed of 12th with 55% marks with Science + 2 years experience/B.Sc.  with 50% marks and working an experience in Biological Science Lab.

3- TECHNICAL ASSISTANT:  A passed of Graduate in Science with Knowledge of Computer and having an  experience in LCD Projector operation/maintenance holding Workshops, Conferences and Seminars using Audio-Visual Systems would be most suitable to perform day to day activities in AH/ SLS.

4- DEPUTY LIBRARIAN: A passed of a Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% of the marks OR its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record and minimum 5 years experience.

5- OFFICE ATTENDANT (MTS): A passed of Matriculation OR its equivalent qualification and must have trained in ITI in concerned field.

6- PERSONAL ASSISTANT: A passed of Senior Secondary School Certificate /10+2 OR its equivalent qualification with proficiency in shorthand with a speed of 120 w.p.m. and 2 years experience as Stenographer.

7- SECURITY ASSISTANT: A passed of Matriculation OR its equivalent qualification and must have basic knowledge of Computer and typing and 05 years experience in the relevant field.

REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s max age should not exceed 35 years as on closing date. Age Relaxation of 5 years will be given to the JNU departmental candidates for Group-“B” and “C” posts. Refer official notification.

REQUIRED FEE: Group-A posts - Rs.500/- for General / OBC candidates, for remaining categories of posts lower than Group-A application fee  is Rs. 300/- for General / OBC candidates. Application fee is to be paid  in the form of a Bank Draft drawn in favour of "Finance Officer, JNU"  and payable at New Delhi.

No application fee is payable by SC/ST & PH category candidates.

POST RESERVATION:  The reservation for different reserved categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Short listed candidates will be selected on the performance in Skill Test / Written Test and Interview.

3. Now Read instructions and click on Part I of Application Form.

4. Now fill all marked details and click on submit button.

5. Once done with first part, now proceed to Part II of online application.

6. Now make payment, Upload your Photograph & signature in the prescribed format & submit the error free application.

7. At last, take print out of system generated application form for further use.
