Required qualification: A passed of Bachelor’s degree in Zoology/Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Fisheries Science/ Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
2-TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (Field/ Farm): 02 posts.
Required qualification: A passed of Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Sociology/ Statistics/Economics/ Social Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
3-TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (Press & Editorial) Hindi Translator: 01 post.
Required qualification: A passed of Bachelor’s degree in Hindi Language or equivalent qualification from a recognized University, with three years experience in science writing and science journalism in Hindi as evidenced by published material/ Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
4-STENOGRAPHER Grade- III: 02 posts.
Required qualification: A passed of 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University Professional efficiency. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter 65 minutes on computer.
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
5-LOWER DIVISION CLERK: 07 posts.
Required qualification: A passed of 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University / typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.
6-LOWER DIVISION CLERK (Hindi Typist): 01 post.
Required qualification: A passed of 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University / typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/ - 20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.
7-SKIPPER GRADE- II: 04 posts.
Required qualification: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent qualification / Certificate of competency as Skipper / Five years practical experience on board fishing vessel after obtaining Mate Fishing Vessel competency Certificate.
Required Age: Age must be in between 18 years -35 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600/-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: A crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- by General & OBC category candidates only drawn in favour of “ICAR Unit – CIFT” and payable at Cochin.
SC/ ST and PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
