POST WISE DETAILS: 71 posts of Faculties in various discipline-
1-PROFESSOR: 13 (Thirteen).
Pay Scale: 37400-67000/- (PB-IV) +AGP Rs. 10000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
2-ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 26 (Twenty Six) posts.
Pay Scale: 37400-67000/- (PB-IV)+ AGP Rs. 9000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of doctoral degree in concerned or allied/relevant discipline OR a Masters degree with at least 55% of marks OR its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E.
3-ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: 32 (Thirty Two).
Pay Scale: 15600-39100/- (PB-III)+ AGP Rs. 6000/-
Required Qualification: A passed of M.Phil and Ph.D. in the relevant field may be prescribed in appropriate cases, a desirable OR essential qualification. The minimum qualifications shall not be relaxed even if a candidate has research degrees like M.Phil or Ph.D.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s max age should not exceed 35 years as on closing date. Refer official notification.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.500/- along with Rs.20/- postal charges, total Rs. 520/- for General / OBC candidates to be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Finance officer, JNU” and payable at any nationalized bank at New Delhi.
No application fee is payable by SC/ST & PH category candidates.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different reserved categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Short listed candidates will be selected on the performance in Interview.
