CAPF has the eight police forces of India like CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, and CISF. CAPF is serving the nation since many years. Border Security Force (BSF) has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant) Posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF, NSG & Assam Rifles, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. BSF invites offline applications for the recruitment of 609 vacant posts of Medical Officers in various departments i.e. Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant) from eligible & interested Indian residents; candidates can apply through offline mode application up to 14-07-2014.

1- SPECIALIST MEDICAL OFFICER: 218 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- GP Rs. 6600/-.
2- MEDICAL OFFICER (Asst Commandant): 390 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- GP Rs. 5400/-.
3- DENTAL SURGEON: 01 post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- GP Rs. 5400/-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of medical qualification MBBS of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must have permanent registration from any state medical council/ MCI for Medical Officers posts/ Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma in concerned specialty mentioned in Section ‘A’ or in Section ‘B’ in schedule-1 or equivalent of the Indian Medical Council Act for Specialist Medical Officers and Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from any recognized University/ Institution for Dental Surgeon posts.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should not be more than 30 years for Medical Officers posts, 40 years for Specialist Medical Officers and 35 years for Dental Surgeon as on 14-07-2014..
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable amount of Rs. 50/- as an Application fee by General and other unreserved category candidates through a crossed IPO/ Bank Draft/ Bankers Cheque of Nationalized Bank while drawn in favour of the “DDO HQ DG BSF New Delhi-03” and payable at SBI CGO Complex New Delhi (Code No.7837).
SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: The shortlisted eligible candidates only will be selected on the basis of their performance in the personal Interview & Medical/Physical Standard status.
