1-MULTI- TASKING STAFF (MTS): 27 - OC-14, OBC-7, SC-3, ST-3.
2-POSTMAN/MAIL GUARD VACANCIES: 50 - OC-40, OBC-3, SC-6, ST-1.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per given details-
MULTI- TASKING STAFF (MTS): A passed of Matriculation or its equivalent or ITI from any recognized Boards.
POSTMAN/MAIL GUARD: A passed of Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
PAY SCALE: As per given details below-
MULTI- TASKING STAFF (MTS): Rs. 5200-20200/-+Grade Pay Rs.1800+ admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
POSTMAN/MAIL GUARD: Rs.5200-20200/-+Grade Pay Rs.2000/- + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
REQUIRED AGE: The age of applicants must be in between 18 to 27 years as on 02-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: The application fee prescribed for all male candidates for General an OBC categories is Rs. 400/-.
Rs. 100/- by Scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/Physically Impaired & Women category candidates are exempted from payment examination Fee.
MODE OF PAYMENT: The applicants have to approach their nearest e-payment Post Offices, (listed under e-payment link of http://www.submitonline.in/dopassam/ and to produce Fee Payment Challan printed by him & to pay the FEE in CASH (INR) only. Once the fee has been paid, the Registration process is completed. The Applicant can check his/her status of payment on the http://www.submitonline.in/dopassam/ after 3 working days after payment of the fee. In case of Non-payment the application registered will not be considered for further process. The applicants who have registered the applications on the closing date of registration are permitted to pay the Fee till 07-07-2014.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Aptitude Test.
A Common Merit list will be prepared for all the units/divisions of Assam Postal Circle for the said purpose, the candidate shall indicate their preference for the postal units/divisions in Assam Circle.
