NOTIFICATION: Karnatak University, Dharwad invites offline applications for the recruitment of 29 vacant posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Assistant Director through walk in interview in various Disciplines, belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (special recruitment) for backlog posts and current vacancies in the Post-Graduate Departments, Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad and in the Post-Graduate Centres of Karwar/ Gadag/ Haveri and Constituent Colleges of this University from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled up application up to 23-07-2014. REQUIRED AGE: For these posts applicants must refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A Demand Draft of Rs.600/- by General & OBC category candidates and Rs.300/- by SC, ST and Cat-I category candidates as processing fee drawn in favour of the "FINANCE OFFICER, KARNATAK UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD" and payable at Dharwad to be attached along with application form.
NOTE: A set of eight (8) prescribed application forms can be had from the “Director, Prasaranga, Karnatak University, Dharwad-03” in person on presentation of Bank challan for having credited the amount of Rs. 400/-in the State Bank of India/ Syndicate Bank, Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad or by post duly sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (28 x 12 cms) duly affixing Rs. 50/- postal stamp along with a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 400/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, K.U. Dharwad, payable at K.U. Campus, Dharwad or by downloading from University website www.kud.ac.inin which case the prescribed application fees of Rs.400/- will be payable. (I.e. downloaded application form fee Rs. 400/- through DD).
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable as per Govt. rules for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Screening test and Interview.
