NOTIFICATION: POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids. POWERGRID operates around 1,05,343 circuit Kms. of transmission lines along with 178 Sub-stations as on 28-02-2014 and wheels about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission network. POWERGRID, with its strong in-house expertise in various facets of Transmission, Sub-Transmission, Distribution and Telecom sectors also offers consultancy services at National and International level. POWERGRID has been making profit since inception, having Gross turnover of 13,329 Crore and Net Profit of 4235 Crore (FY-2012-13). Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) invites online applications for the recruitment of 15 posts of Deputy Manager- Electrical and Senior Engineer-Electrical from eligible & interested Indian residents; candidates can apply through online mode application up to 27-06-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 15 posts of Managers & Engineers-
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable amount of Rs.400/- as an application fee to be deposited by General & OBC category candidates through a Bank Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Power Grid Corporation of India Limited” and payable at New Delhi.
No fee from SC/ST/PWD & Ex-SM category candidates.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: The shortlisted eligible candidates only will be selected on the basis of their performance in Interview & Medical Exam in Hindi or English.

h-Chart clearly indicating executive/ Gazetted officer cadre in the organization and position of the applicant in the hierarchy for relevant experience.
j-All proof of experience shall be duly certified by the organization concerned and self-attested by candidate.
