NOTIFICATION:   The UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is a premier autonomous institute established by Govt. of U.P. under Act 2005. The institute is running full-fledged medical college and fully equipped Multi Specialty 700 bedded hospital. UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (RIMSNR) Etawah invites offline applications for the direct recruitment of 63 posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturer on direct recruitment or on contractual basis from eligible & interested Indian residents; candidates can apply through offline mode application up to 30-06-2014.

PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/LECTURER in the following Departments-

(2) Biochemistry.

(3) Pathology.

(4) Microbiology.

(5) Forensic Medicine.

(6) General Medicine.

(7) Skin & VD.

(8) Psychiatry.

(9) General Surgery.

(10) Ophthalmology.

(11) ENT.

(12) Anesthesia.

(13) Radio diagnosis.

(14) Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR).

(15) Orthopedics.

(16) Community Medicine (Non Teaching).

SUPER SPECIALTY POSTS:  Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the following departments-

(1) Cardiology.

(2) Cardiothoracic Surgery (CVTS).

(3) Neuro Surgery.

(4) Neurology.

(5) Urology.

(6) Gastroenterology.

(7) Gastro surgery.

(8) Plastic Surgery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:  As per given details below-

1- PROFESSOR:   As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for 3 years in the recognized medical college/Institute/After MD/MS 14 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/Institute/Mini of 4 research publications in Index/National journals out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

OR

As Reader/Associate Professor in the Deptt. for 4 years in a recognized medical college/Institute/After MD/MS 14 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/ Institute.

2-ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:   As Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for 4 years in a recognized medical college/ Institute/After MD/MS 6 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/ Institute/ Mini of 2 Research publications in index/national journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.

OR

As Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the Deptt. for 5 years in a recognized medical college/After MD/MS 6 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/ Institute.

3-ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:   Recognized postgraduate (MD/MS./MDS/Ph. D) qualification in the subject/3 years post PG teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/Institute.

4-LECTURER:   Requisite Recognized Postgraduate qualification in the subject/3 years experience as Resident/Demonstrator from recognized medical college/Institute.

5-LADY MEDICAL OFFICER:   Recognized Medical Qualification of MD/MS/DGO in the subject.

NOTE: In the department of Biochemistry only MD Biochemistry candidates can apply.

REQUIRED AGE: Max age 50 years as on last date of submission of application.

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE:  An amount of Rs.500/- by General and OBC category candidates in the form of a Demand draft issued in favour of “Finance Officer, U.P. RIMS & R, Saifai” and payable at Bank of India, Saifai Branch Code – 7281 to be attached along with application form.
 
No fee from SC/ST/PWD & XS category candidates.

POST RESERVATION:  The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and Ex Servicemen candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in interview.
