REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Required qualifications as per given details below-
SUB INSPECTOR (Workshop): A passed of Graduation in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering.
SUB INSPECTOR (Master): A passed of 12th or equivalent and Master Certificate issued by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
SUB INSPECTOR (Engine Driver): A passed of 12th or equivalent and Engine Driver Certificate from the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
HEAD CONSTABLE (Master): A passed of 10th and Serang certificate.
HEAD CONSTABLE (Engine Driver): A passed of 10th and Engine Driver Certificate.
HEAD CONSTABLE (Workshop): A passed of 10th and Industrial Training Diploma in Motor Mechanic Machinist, Welder, Fitter etc.
CONSTABLE (Crew): A passed of 10th, 1 year experience in operating boat below 265 HP as a Greaser or Sukhani and knowledge of swimming.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should be in between 20-25 years for SI (Workshop), HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop) and CT (Crew) posts as on closing date.
Applicant’s age should be in between 22-28 years for SI (Master) and SI (Engine Driver) posts as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC & Ex Servicemen category candidates.
