NOTIFICATION: Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) was raised on 24 Oct,1962.Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes raging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western,Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border. ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations. Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) invites offline applications for the recruitment of 58 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (Overseer) from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian residents, candidates who are eligible & interested can apply through offline mode at official website up to 31-07-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 58 Posts of Sub-Inspector (Overseer)-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute recognized by the Central Government.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate's age should be in between 20-25 years as on 31-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.
REQUIRED FEE: General & OBC category candidates have to pay Rs.50/- as an application fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country.
Candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen category are exempted from paying of an application fee.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview and also on the below mentioned teste-
