1- ASSISTANT LINEMAN (Electrician/Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic)-Female Only: 53 posts-General - 37, Rural quota - 12, Ex-Military Personnel - 02, Kannada Medium Candidate – 01 & Project Displaced Candidate – 01.
2- ASSISTANT LINEMAN (Lineman/Electrician trade) -Male / Female: 32 posts- General - 15, Rural quota - 11, Ex-Military Personnel - 04, Kannada Medium Candidate – 01 & Project Displaced Candidate - 01.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 7950/- -16790/-.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: ITI CANDIDATES: A pass certificate of 18/24 months course in "Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic" trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) recognized by Government of Karnataka.
ITC CANDIDATES: A passed of 10th STD Examination and pass certificate of 3 years "Lineman trade/Electrician trade" (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s required age should not exceed 35 years for General, 38 years for Category IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB candidates, 40 years for SC/ ST and Category I candidates.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 400/-as an application fee in respect of candidates belonging to General Candidate and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB and Rs. 200/- in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category have to be paid. Candidates may pay the Application fee by using Net Banking option, any Bank ATM cum Debit card, Internet Banking OR Candidates can also pay the Application fee using Off Line i.e., pay by Chailan form at State Bank of India Branches. Application fee shall be paid during hours between 10.00 A.M and 4.00 PM only.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
PHYSICAL FITNESS: Eligible & interested candidates must be physically fit for these posts because there is a test.
SELECTION PROCESS: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Endurance Test.
