POST WISE DETAILS: Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) -2014
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Applicants must possess Master’s degree (final year) examination or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this Test, Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed on or before 19-09-1991 can apply for this test and Post graduation degree in relevant subject can also appear for KSET-2014.
REQUIRED AGE: There is no limitation in Age. Candidates don’t have any upper age limit to apply for KSET examination -2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC & Ex Servicemen category candidates.
PAY SCALE: As per University norms.
REQUIRED FEE: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- while SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped (PWD) category candidates will have to pay Rs. 800/-and Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD (VH/PH) Rs. 500/- as an application fee. Candidates will have to pay extra Rs. 20/- more as a Bank charges.
Application fee must be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Mysore through Bank Challan form downloaded from the KSET website. All candidates must pay late fee of Rs.100/- if online application is submitted after the last date till the extended period.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in in written examination and merit list.
