REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MEDICAL EXECUTIVES: A passed of a MBBS with MS/DM/DNB with minimum 1 year Post Qualification (PQ) Experience.
NURSING: A passed of a B. Sc.(Nursing) with minimum 1 year Post Qualification and experience OR Intermediate or 10+2 with Science with Diploma with minimum 1 year Post Qualification Experience.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: As per details given below-
A- CONSULTANT / SPECIALIST / SR. MEDICAL OFFICERS: Applicants from General & OBC category Candidates will be required to pay of Rs.500/-+ Rs.30/- as Bank Charges as an application fee.
Applicants from SC/ST/PWD & ESM category Candidates will be required to pay of Rs.100/-+ Rs.30/- as Bank Charges as an application fee.
B- NURSING SISTER (Trainee) & Nursing Brother (Trainee): Applicants from General & OBC category Candidates will be required to pay of Rs.250/-+ Rs.30/- as Bank Charges as an application fee.
Applicants from SC/ST/PWD & ESM category Candidates will be required to pay of Rs.50/-+ Rs.30/- as Bank Charges as an application fee.
MODE OF PAYMENT: The State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application / processing fee in a specially opened “Power Jyoti Account No. 31955226331 at SBI, RSP Campus Branch, Rourkela”, on behalf of SAIL/RSP. Candidate has to take a printout of the bank challan available on the Application Registration Portal and approach a branch of SBI for depositing the fee. Candidates should retain a copy of the bank challan with them. On receipt of the fee, the concerned branch of SBI will issue a unique Journal Number and the branch Code of the Bank. The Journal Number and the branch Code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. The SBI branches will accept the fee up to 09-08-2014 during working hours. Fee will not be collected by any other mode. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test and Interview. No Written Exam for Consultant / Specialist Doctors & Sr. Medical Officer Posts.
Candidates appearing in the interview would be required to furnish documents regarding proof of date of birth, caste/category, qualification, experience, PWD/ESM status, Registration Slip, RSP copy of Bank Challan etc. at the time of interview as per intimation given to the short listed candidates, list will be available at official website.
IMPORTANT: All correspondence with candidate will be done through Email / SMS only. All information regarding “Test Schedule / Admit Card / Interview Call Letters etc.” will be provided through Email / SMS / uploading on SAIL website. Candidates must download / print their Admit Card / Interview Call Letter once it is made available on the application portal. SAIL/RSP will not be responsible for any loss of Email/SMS sent, due to invalid or wrong Email ID/Mobile Number provided by the candidate or for delay / non receipt of information if a candidate fails to access his/her Email / Mobile in time. Candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test / interview only if they possess valid admit card / interview call letter respectively.
