NOTIFICATION: Sikkim Public Service Commission, (SPSC) Gangtok invites offline applications for the recruitment of 352 posts of Graduate Teachers in Humanities, Biology and Mathematics under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim through direct recruitment from candidates having CTET/STET certificate from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian residents, candidates who are eligible & interested candidates can apply through offline mode at official website up to 30-07-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 352 posts of Graduate Teachers-
1- GRADUATE TEACHER (Humanities): 127 posts.
2- GRADUATE TEACHER (Biology): 99 posts.
3- GRADUATE TEACHER (Mathematics): 126 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a Graduation Degree / Bachelors Degree or its equivalent qualification (with Honours for major language group i.e. Nepali, Hindi) from a recognized University and should have qualified Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test/ having CTET/STET certificate.
REQUIRED AGE: The candidate’s age applying for these posts should be in between 18 to 30 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.

1.Permanent Govt Employee – 40 years.
2.Contract/Adhoc/Co-terminus Employee – 45 years.
3.SC/ST and BL applicants – 35 years.
4.MBC applicants – 34 years.
5.OBC applicants – 33 years.
REQUIRED FEE: Eligible candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 150/-as an application fee through original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim credited to account no. 0051-SPSC (SBI).
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- + Grade pay Rs. 4600/-.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written exam/Classroom demonstration/Personality Test.
Classroom demonstration/Personality Test will be of 60 Marks.
SCHEME OF WRITTEN TEST: Written examination will have 3 papers-
a- General English – Subjective type- 100 Marks.
b- General Knowledge – Objective type- 100 Marks.
c- Main Subjects (3 optional subjects) – Subjective type- 300 Marks.
