NOTIFICATION: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites online application for the direct recruitment of 162 vacant posts of Civil Judge from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 21-09-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 162 posts of Civil Judge-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a Graduation degree in law from any recognized University and must be eligible to be enrolled as an advocate.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age should not exceed 27 years for fresher and 35 for practising candidates as on 01-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per
Government rules.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 27700 – 770 – 33090 – 920 – 40450 – 1080 – 44770/-.
REQUIRED FEE: Rs.175/- to be paid. (I.e. Cost of Application Rs. 50/- + Examination fee Rs.125/-) Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application cost. (No exemption for cost of application). Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency. Candidates can avail of the facility of one time Registration on payment of Rs.50/- towards Registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of one time registration.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), PWD and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and /viva voce/interview.
