POST WISE DETAILS: 104 posts of Scientific Assistant/B, Upper Division Clerk, Driver (Ordinary Grade) and Stipendiary Trainees Category–II-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1-SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT-B: A passed of 3 years Diploma after SSC in Engineering Discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University.
2-UDC: A passed of degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks and must have minimum speed of 30 words per minute in typewriting in English/ Knowledge of computer data processing.
3-DRIVER: A passed of SSC (Matriculation) or equivalent & must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive heavy vehicle and 3 years experience in driving light vehicle/ heavy vehicle.
4-STIPENDIARY TRAINEE: A passed of HSC or SSC with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths subjects from a recognised Board and ITI in required Trade.
REQUIRED AGE: As per details given below-
1-Scientific Assistant-B: Candidate’s required age should be in between 18 years - 30 years as on closing date.
2-Upper Division Clerk and Driver: Candidate’s required age should be in between 18 years - 27 years as on closing date.
3-Stipendiary Trainee: Candidate’s required age should be in between 18 years - 22 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), PWD and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test/personal Interview.
The test will be held at IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
