NOTIFICATION:  Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) Cuttack invites online application for the recruitment of 811 vacant posts of Assistant Section Officer in Governor’s Secretariat & State Secretariat from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 27-09-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS:   811 Posts of Assistant Section Officer in Governor’s Secretariat & State Secretariat-

1- Assistant Section Officer (Governor’s Secretariat):  11 posts- UR-6, SEBC-1, SC-2, ST-2.

2- Assistant Section Officer (State Secretariat):  800 posts- UR-400, SEBC-90, SC-130, ST-180.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:    A passed of Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a recognized University.

PAY SCALE:   Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-.

REQUIRED AGE:  The required age of a candidate should be in between of 18 years and 32 years as on closing date.

AGE RELAXATION:   Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.

REQUIRED FEE:   An amount of Rs. Rs.300/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid through Offline Challan at any branch of State Bank of India.

No application fee from reserved class candidates.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), PWD and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:    The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test and Interview.
