State Bank of India (SBI) Associate Banks invites online application for the direct recruitment of 2986 vacant posts of Probationary Officer (PO) In State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 18-09-2014.

1- STATE BANK OF BIKANER & JAIPUR (SBBJ): 350 posts -Gen—153, SC—45, ST—71, OBC—81 (23 seats reserved for PWD VH/ OH).
2- STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD (SBH): 900 posts-Gen—378, SC—112, ST—157, OBC—253 (56 seats reserved for PWD VH/OH).
3- STATE BANK OF MYSORE (SBM): 500 posts- Gen—235, SC—70, ST—69, OBC—126 (30 seats reserved for PWD VH/ OH).
4-STATE BANK OF PATIALA (SBP): 100 posts -Gen—24, SC—7, ST—56, OBC—13 (16 seats reserved for PWD VH/ OH).
5- STATE BANK OF TRAVANCORE (SBT): 1136 posts -Gen—505, SC—181, ST—180, OBC—270 ( 30 seats reserved for PWD VH/OH).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or any equivalent qualification and must have knowledge of Computer.
REQUIRED AGE: The minimum age of a candidate must be 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01-09-2014, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-09-1984 and not later than 01-09-1993 (both days inclusive).
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.500/- by all candidates including OBC category and Rs.100/- only by SC/ST & PWD. candidates to be paid as an Application Fee.
Fee can be paid online by means of Credit/ Debit card or Net banking during submission of Online Application form OR Application Fee can be paid by means of Fee Payment Challan form through SBI or its Associate Banks. Fee payment challan form will be generated automatically upon submission of online Application form.
PAY SCALE: Rs.14500—25700/- plus other applicable allowances as per norms.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), PWD and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selection of the candidates will be through all India Written Examination which for total 250 marks in two tests. The first Objective Tests for 200 marks. It is included four sections of Test of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation, Test of Reasoning (High Level).
Second Test is Descriptive Test for 50 marks with One hour duration will be "Test of English Language (i.e Comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay).
Immediately after the online Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. Questions relating to Descriptive Test will be available on computer Online and candidates will have to write the answers on the answer sheet Offline provided to them on Paper/Pen mode.
Candidates who qualify the Objective Test will be allowed to appear in the Descriptive Test and candidates who qualify both tests will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
Recruitment Test will be conducted tentatively in Nov. 2014. The Examination will be conducted at various centres across the country. Its details will be intimated to the eligible candidates through Admit Card or by E mail.
No Admit card will be sent to the candidates by post. Admit card will be available to download from the bank’s website from 27-10-2014.
