NOTIFICATION: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) invites online/offline applications for the recruitment of 929 Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ vacant posts of Senior Technical Assistant, Admin & Allied, and Technician in various Trades/Discipline through DRDO Entry Test – 2014 for CEPTAM from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online/offline at official website up to 08-11-2014.

1- SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (STA-B) 'B': 449 posts approx in various trades.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/-+ grade pay Rs. 4200/-.
Required Age: 18-28 years as on closing date.
Required Qualification: A passed of B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in required Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
2- TECHNICIAN -A (Tech-A): 235 posts in various trades.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.
Required Age: 18-28 years as on closing date.
Required Qualification: A passed of 10th or its equivalent with ITI in specified trades from a recognized Institute.
3- ADMIN. & ALLIED CATEGORIES: 245 posts.
Pay Scale: Pay of Assistants in the pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 34800/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- for Assistant Hindi and in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5200-20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- for the posts of Personal Assistant 'A' and pay Scale of Rs. 5200-20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- for the posts of Admin Assistant 'A', Store Assistant 'A', Security Assistant 'A', Clerk (Canteen Manager), Vehicle Operator 'A', Fire Engine Driver 'A' and Assistant Halwai - cum – Cook.
Required Age: 18-30 years as on closing date.
Required Qualification: A passed of Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English/Hindi with Hindi and English as compulsory elective subjects at degree level OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective) and 2 years Experience of translation from English to Hindi or vice versa. XII class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and Accurate speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing in English or Accurate speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry into computer. (Typing test will be on computer only). Typing on computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English (35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.)/ Typing on computer at the speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi (30 words per minute corresponds to 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Typing on computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English (35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
AGE RESERVATION: Age reservation is applicable as per Govt. rules for reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.50/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid online mode by using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or can pay through offline by IPO drawn in favour of "The Director, CEPTAM, Delhi", payable at Delhi.
