NOTIFICATION: The West Bengal Staff Selection Commission, Kolkata invites offline/online applications for the recruitment of 414 vacant posts of Lower Division Clerk, Bhumi Sahayak, Amin, Krishi Prayukti Sahayak, Draftsman and other under various Directorate, Regional and District Offices of Government of West Bengal for Special Recruitment Drive for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply offline/online at official website up to 07-11-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1. LOWER DIVISION CLERK / ASSISTANT: A passed of Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer operation with the ability of typing on Computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bengali from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 (six) months.
2. BHUMI SAHAYAK: A passed of School Final/ Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Good working knowledge of written and spoken Bengali.
3. AMIN: A passed of Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer operation with the ability of typing on Computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bengali from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 (six) months.
4. DRAFTSMAN: A passed of Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent/ Must have a Certificate of Senior Surveyorship from the West Bengal Survey Institute, Bandel or the National Trade Certificate on Surveyorship from the Industrial Training Institute or its equivalent/ Must have three years' experience in Survey Work/ Must have knowledge in Bengali or Nepali- Spoken and Written.
5. VETERINARY PHARMACIST / PHARMACIST CUM DRESSER: A passed of Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science with Biology as one of the subjects of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent. Must have passed the 2 (two) years Diploma Course in Veterinary Pharmacy under Board of Veterinary Education or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Veterinary Education, West Bengal or passed in-service abridged (condensed) course on Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy. Must have knowledge in Bengali or Nepali - spoken and written.
6. KRISHI PRAYUKTI SAHAYAK: A passed of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of a candidate should be in between of 18 years - 45 years as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RESERVATION: Age reservation is applicable as per Govt. rules for reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: Rs. 5/- + extra charge. Refer official notification.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
