REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per UGC/University rules-
PROFESSOR: A passed of Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years' experience out of which at least 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: A passed of Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years' of experience of teaching and/or research at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: A passed of Master's with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech Degree first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch of Engg. with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
REQUIRED AGE: Required age of a candidate should be as per University norms.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: As per UGC/University rules.
