Required Age: Born between- 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
2-Assistant Commandant General Duty (Pilot & Navigator/Observer) - Men.
Required Age: Born between- 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
3-Assistant Commandant - Technical (Mechanical/Electrical)- Men.
Required Age: Born between- 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
4-Assistant Commandant - (Short Service Commission) Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) Commercial Pilot License holders)- Men.
Required Age: Born between- 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
5-Assistant Commandant - General Duty (GD) Women.
Required Age: Born between- 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
6-Assistant Commandant - Law Men.
Required Age: Born Between- 01 Jul 1985 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
GENERAL DUTY: A passed of a Bachelor's degree of any recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks of both subjects.
TECHNICAL BRANCH: A passed of Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate or should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in required discipline with 60% marks.
PILOTS: A passed of aggregate 60% marks in 12th standard also 60% aggregate marks of both Mathematics and Physics subjects. Should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection.
LAW: A passed of Degree in Law with minimum 60 % marks (3 years degree in Law after graduation) or (5 years after 10+2 examination).
MEDICAL STANDARDS: As per details given below-
A- HEIGHT-
(i) Assistant Commandant (GD) and Technical - 157 cms minimum. Reduction in height
for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.
(ii) Assistant Commandant General duty (Women) - 152 cms.
(iii) Assistant Commandant (Pilot) and Assistant Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders for Short Service Appointment (Men/Women) - Minimum 162.5 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length minimum 99 cms.
B- WEIGHT - Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
C- CHEST - Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
D- EYE SIGHT -
(i) Assistant Commandant (GD) -> 6/6 6/9 - Uncorrected without Glass. and Assistant Commandant GD(Women)) 6/6 6/6 - Corrected with Glass.
(ii) Assistant Commandant GD(P/N) -> 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other /CPL Holders SSA correctable to 6/6.
(iii) Assistant Commandant (Tech) -> 6/36 6/36 - Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 6/6 - Corrected with Glass.
(iv) Assistant Commandant (Law) -> 6/60 6/60 - Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 6/12 - Corrected with Glass.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- .
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
