NOTIFICATION: Air India Limited is carrying out this recruitment
session in Northern Region (Delhi) on fixed term employment basis. Air India
Limited invites offline application for the recruitment of 61 vacant
posts of Cabin Crew through walk-in interviews to fill these vacancies from
both male and female candidates in Northern Region (Delhi) on fixed term
employment on contractual basis from Indian
residents who are eligible &

POST
WISE DETAILS: 61 posts of Cabin Crew-
1.
Male:
31 posts- SC-05, ST-03, OBC-09 and Gen-14.
2.
Female:
30 posts- SC-04, ST-04, OBC-09 and Gen-15.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10+2 from or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University and minimum two years flying experience as Cabin Crew in an Airline of repute with current valid SEP Book.
LANGUAGE: Fluency in English and Hindi. Candidates having fluency in any Foreign Language of destination where Air India operates will be given preference.
PAY SCALE: Rs.10000 – Rs.35000/-.
EMOLUMENTS: During
the period of training, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.10000/-
per month. After successful completion of the training, candidates may initially
draw approximately Rs.35000/-per month (both Fixed & Variables). In
addition to above, candidates will also be eligible for Standby Allowance
of Rs.300/- per Standby Duty at the Airport. The above salary includes
Fixed pay of Rs.12400/-, Rs.14500/- as Flying Allowance for 70 hours and
Rs.8100/- as Layover Allowance for International Flights in a month.
The number of hours flown in a month and International Layovers may vary
from time to time and depends on operation of domestic/International
Flights on type of Aircraft from the station of posting. The revision of
above salary is also under consideration.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
1- Height & BMI:
Female -
Minimum 160 cms.
Male - Minimum 172 cms.
{Relaxation of 5 cms for SC/ST candidates & those in
North East states & hilly states (Subject to domicile proof}.
- BMI should be as per CAR issued by the DGCA.
Normal BMI: Male (Between 18-25) and Female (Between
18-22).
- Formula for calculating BMI = Weight in Kgs./Height in meters X Height in meters.
2- Vision: Near
Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye.
Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye.
Spectacles not allowed.
Contact lenses up to + 2D permitted.
NOTE: Please note that candidates, who have undergone lasik surgery for correction of eyesight, will be considered provided they have undergone surgery prior to six months of issuance of this advertisement.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of a candidate should be in between of 20-30 years as on 01-12-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED

POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD),
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on
the basis of their performance in
Personnel interview. Original Documents / Certificates must be brought at the

INTERVIEW
VENUE: Executive Director (NR)’s Office Complex, Air
India Limited, Northern Region, IGI Airport, Terminal-1, Near Old Lufthansa
Hanger, JAL Road, New Delhi -110037 on 04 & 05-01-2015.
TIME: walk in 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours.
TRAINING
PERIOD: Selected candidates will be
imparted training at Hyderabad or at any other place decided by the
Company and will be required to obtain necessary DGCA approval on Air
India Ltd’s fleet as decided by the Management from time to time.
PERIOD OF
FIXED TERM ENGAGEMENT: Candidates will
be engaged on a Fixed Term contract initially for a period of five years, which
is extendable subject to performance of the candidate and the Company’s
requirement.
NOTE: Female candidates are
required to appear for Walk-in-interviews in “SAREE” and male candidates in
formal attire.
