NOTIFICATION: RAC, the Recruitment and Assessment Centre of DRDO was set up on 23 July 1985 after getting exemption from the purview of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It is situated at Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi. RAC has undertaken various recruitment programmes to induct scientists each year in variety of scientific and engineering disciplines relevant to DRDO Laboratories and assessed the suitability of DRDO scientists for promotion to next higher grade through duly constituted Assessment Boards/ Peer Committee. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1.
SCIENTIST
'F': A passed of First Class Bachelor's
Degree in Engineering or Technology in Concerned Discipline OR First Class
Master's Degree from any recognized University. Experience - At least 13 years
Experience in required field.
2.
SCIENTIST
‘E’: A passed of First Class Bachelor's Degree of Engineering or Technology in
Concerned Discipline from any recognized University. Desirable - Master's
Degree in Engineering or Technology. Experience - At least 10 years experience
in required area.
3.
SCIENTIST
'D': A passed of First Class Master's Degree from any recognized University.
Desirable - Doctorate Degree. Experience - At least 7 years experience in
required Field.
4. SCIENTIST 'C': A passed of First Class Bachelor's Degree /
Master's Degree in concerned discipline from any recognized University.
Experience - At least 3 years' experience in required field.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

Fee of Rs. 50/- by General & OBC
candidates to be paid through online mode.
No fee is payable by SC/ ST/ PH & Women Candidates.
POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
