NOTIFICATION: Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM
Ranchi) is an autonomous institution founded by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD), Government of India, on July 8, 2010. IIM Ranchi currently
offers a two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme; a two
year Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (PGDHRM) programme; a
full-time Fellow Programme in Management (FPM); and Post Graduate Executive
(PGEXP) Programme in Management. From the humble beginnings of only one
programme with 44 students in 2010, IIM Ranchi has grown rapidly, both in terms
of the number of full-time programmes and student strength (currently around
500 across programmes) in a short span of under four years. IIM Ranchi is
currently operating from a temporary campus in Suchana Bhawan in Ranchi. The
Institute is in the process of setting up its permanent campus in Ranchi. The
new campus shall have state-of-the art facilities for academic area,
administration, faculty offices, students’ hostels, executive education and
residences for faculty and staff members. The Institute looks forward to create
a conducive academic environment, with strong focus for research by the faculty

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1. Professor: A passed of Ph. D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout/ minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IIMs, IITs, II. Sc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution of comparable standards as may be so decided by the Institute (teaching or research experience gained during Ph.D. will NOT be counted).

Professor: A
passed of Ph. D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in
appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout/ minimum of 6
years’ teaching/Industry (Officer level) / research experience, of which at
least three years’ should be at the level of Assistant professor or equivalent
(teaching or research experience gained during Ph.D. will NOT be counted).

Professor: A passed of Ph. D. with
first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a
very good academic record throughout/Minimum 3 years’ teaching/industry
(Officer Level)/research experience (teaching or research experience gained
during Ph.D. will NOT be counted).
NOTE: Those who have submitted / are about to submit Ph.D. thesis or with shortfall in experience can apply for appointment as Assistant Professor on Contract in the above Areas.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent with first class in the preceding degree, with consistently good academic record, and commensurate publications/publication potential. All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE approved autonomous institutions (wherever applicable). The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved / recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
PAY SCALE: As per Govt. Rules-
Compensation and rank will be decided based on academic accomplishments and experience of the candidate. Base salary is as per guidelines of the Ministry of Human Resource Development MHRD), Government of India. The following are details of positions and pay.

Professor: Rs.
37400-67000/- + AGP Rs. 10500/-.
2.
Associate Professor: Rs. 37400-67000/- + AGP Rs. 9500/-.
3.
Assistant Professor: Rs.
15600-39100/- + AGP Rs. 8000/-.
NOTE: The pay carries all other allowances similar to a Central Government employee. Other benefits include NPS (for regular faculty members), reimbursement of medical expenses, medical insurance for self and dependents as per norms of the Institute, faculty development allowance, conference grant, allowance for children’s education, Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) as per Government of India rules, etc. New faculty members joining the Institute will be also entitled to transfer T.A. as per existing Government of India norms. Additionally, the Institute offers opportunities for faculty members to earn additional income in executive training programmes and consulting assignments.
