NOTIFICATION:     Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank came into existence on 12.09.2005 with the amalgamation of 4 erstwhile Regional Rural Banks sponsored by Syndicate Bank in the state of Karnataka namely Malaprabha Grameena Bank, Varada Grameena Bank, Netravati Grameena Bank and Bijapur Grameena Bank with the objective of catering to the needs of the target group under Farm Sector and Non Farm Sector.  The operational area of the Bank extends to 9 Districts namely Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Udupi, Uttar Kannada and Dakshina Kannada with a network of 552 branches. The Bank has a customer base of over 4 million. Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank invites online application for the recruitment of 1126 vacant posts of Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian residents who have been declared qualified at the Online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2014, are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 22-12-2014.

2- Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):  68 posts.

3- Officer Scale-II (IT):  18 posts.

4- Officer Scale-II (Law):  2 posts.

5- Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager):  2 posts.

6- Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer):  17 posts.

7- Officer Scale-II (Agricultural Officer):  7 posts.

8- Officer Scale-I:  318 posts.

9- Office Assistant (Multipurpose):  682 posts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:    Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Online CWE conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 and have obtained standard qualifying scores released by IBPS are only eligible to apply. The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants –(Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State / UT, i.e. Kannada is studied as a subject at least at Matriculation level.

REQUIRED AGE:  As per IBPS rules.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

PAY SCALE:     As per details given below-

1- Officer Scale I:  Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700/-.

2-Officer Scale II:  Rs.19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100/-.

3- Officer Scale III:  Rs.25700-800/5-29700-900/2-31500/-.

4- Office Assistant (Multipurpose):  Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300/- (20 years).

REQUIRED FEE:    No application fee is required.

POST RESERVATION:   Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:   Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in RRBs- CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 and Personal Interview. The Interview will be held at the DHARWAD centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

HOW TO APPLY:     For these posts eligible and interested willing candidates must apply online at official website up to 22-12-2014. Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain the same for future correspondence. Do not send the print-out to the bank at this stage.
