NOTIFICATION:    The National Green Tribunal has been established on 18.10.2010 under the National Green Tribunal Act 2010 for effective and expeditious disposal of cases relating to environmental protection and conservation of forests and other natural resources including enforcement of any legal right relating to environment and giving relief and compensation for damages to persons and property and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. It is a specialized body equipped with the necessary expertise to handle environmental disputes involving multi-disciplinary issues. National Green Tribunal (NGT) New Delhi invites offline/online application for the recruitment of 51 vacant posts of Private Secretary, Assistant, Librarian, Stenographer and Peon/Orderly/ Court Attendant from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply offline/online at official website up to 20-12-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS:     51 posts of Private Secretary, Assistant, Librarian, Stenographer and Peon/Orderly/ Court Attendant-

1- Private Secretary: 11 posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,800/-

Required Qualification: A passed of 1. Officers possessing Bachelor’s degree from recognized University holding post of court Master/Stenographer Grade “C” with at least two years regular service. 2. Computer Training Course of at least 6 months duration from recognised institution.

Desirable Qualification: Degree in Law.

Required Age:  21 to 40 years.

2- Assistant (Judicial): 05 posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-

Required Qualification: A passed of 1. LLB/Degree in Law (Regular Course) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India with minimum 55% marks. 2. Computer Training Course of at least 6 months duration from recognised institution.

Desirable Qualification:  Preference will be given to candidates possessing a degree with Environmental Studies/Sciences as one of the subject or Having 2 years working experience in the field of environment.

Required Age:  21 to 30 years.

3- Librarian: 05 posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-.

Required Qualification: A passed of 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% marks. 2. Two years professional experience in a Library under Central/State Government/Autonomous or Statutory Organization or recognized research or Educational Institution

Desirable Qualification:  Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised University or Institute.

Required Age: 21 to 30 years.

4- Stenographer Grade-D: 06 posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2,400/-

Required Qualification: A passed of 1. Graduation from a recognized University with at least 55% marks. 2. Computer training Course of at least 6 months duration from recognised institution.

Required Age: 21 to 27 years.

5- Peon/Orderly/Court Attendant: 24 posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1,800/-

Required Qualification:  A passed of Matriculation or equivalent.

Required Age: 18 to 27 years.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE:    No fee is required.

POST RESERVATION:   Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:   Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination, skill test and interview.
