NOTIFICATION: The provision for
constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article
96C of the Government of India Act, 1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’
was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and
conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations
of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in
India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also
recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commissions. Tripura
Public Service Commission (TPSC), invites offline application for the recruitment
of 91 vacant posts of Research Officer, Veterinary Officer, Development
Officer in different Departments under Govt. of Tripura from Indian residents who are
eligible & interested; candidates can apply offline at official website up
to 08-01-2015.

1- Senior Research
Officer (Group A): 1 post.
Required Qualification: A passed of Master’s degree in any one of
the following discipline – Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/ Sociology from
any recognized University & 5years experience teaching/statistical field
work. Knowledge of Bengali is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.13575—37000/- + Grade Pay: Rs.4500/-.
2- Veterinary Officer
(Group B): 74 posts - SC-13,
ST-24 and UR-37.
Required Qualification: A passed of Degree in Veterinary Science from
any recognized University.
Pay Scale: Rs.9570—30,000/- +
Grade Pay: Rs.3500/-.
3- Panchayat Resource
Development Officer (PRDO), Legal Affairs (Group B):

posts - SC-1, ST-1 and UR-2.
Required Qualification: A passed of Bachelor’s degree in Law from
any recognized University. Knowledge in Panchayat Act and Rules is desirable.
Experience in legal affairs is preferable.
Pay Scale: Rs.9570—30,000/- +
Grade Pay: Rs.3100/-.
4- Panchayat Resource
Development Officer (PRDO), Financial Management (Group B): 4 posts - SC-1, ST-1
and UR-2.
Required Qualification: A passed of M.Com/ MBA with specialization
in Financial Management from any recognized University. Knowledge in Computer
Application is preferred.
Pay Scale: Rs.9570—30,000/- +
Grade Pay: Rs.3100/-.
5- Panchayat Resource
Development Officer (PRDO), Rural Development (Group B):

Required Qualification: A passed of Master’s degree in Rural
Management from any recognized University and Development. Experience in RD
works in Tripura is preferable.
Pay Scale: Rs.9570—30,000/- +
Grade Pay: Rs.3100/-.
6- Panchayat Resource
Development Officer (PRDO), Computer (Group B): 4 posts - SC-1; ST-1; UR-2.
Required Qualification: A passed of B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering/
MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science). Practical knowledge (6 months) in Computer is
desirable from any recognized University.
Pay Scale: Rs.9570—30,000/- +
Grade Pay: Rs.3100/-.
REQUIRED AGE: The required maximum age of a candidate should not exceed 40 years as on 08-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An application fee by
General & OBC candidates of Rs.200/- for Group – “A” posts, Rs.150/- for
Group – “B” posts and Rs.100/- for Group – “C” posts to be paid.
By SC/ST/ BPL Card Holder and PWD candidates the Application Fee is to be paid
as Rs.150/- for Group – “A” posts, Rs.100/- for Group – “B” posts and Rs.50/-
for Group – “C” posts.
Fee may be paid through State Bank of India by depositing the amount in the
Commission’s account.
NOTE: SC/ST
candidates of Other States (i.e. except Tripura) have to apply as General
candidates and shall pay fee in full.
POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD),
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION
PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance
in Screening
Test and Personality Test.
