NOTIFICATION: The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the six Members. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites online application for the recruitment of 64 vacant posts of Assistant Review Officer, Translator, Typist and Assistant Librarian from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 01-01-2015.

Assistant
Review Officer: 51 posts-Gen-32,
SC-08, ST-02 and OBC-09.
Required Qualification: A passed of Bachelor’s
degree of any University established by law in India or qualification recognized
as equivalent thereto or He/ She must
possess Diploma in Computer Science from recognized Institute/University or
O-level certificate from DOEACC Society and a speed of minimum 9000
key-depression per hour in English typing would be essential..
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/-+
GP Rs.4200/-.

Translator: 06 posts-Gen-04,
ST-01 and OBC-01.
Required Qualification: A passed of Graduate in
any stream with Diploma/Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English
and vice versa from University/Institution, recognized by Government or two
years previous experience in Translation works from Hindi to English and vice versa
in any Central/State Government Offices/Parliament/State Legislature
Secretariats or Central/State Public Sector Undertakings/Supreme Court of
India/High Courts/Subordinate Courts. The qualifying marks for the General
Category would be 50% and for SC/ST/OBC would be 45%.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/-+
GP Rs.2800/-.

Typist: 06 posts-Gen-04, ST-01
and OBC-01.
Required Qualification: A passed of a Bachelor’s
Degree of a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognized
by the State Government as equivalent thereto and must possess good knowledge of English typing
with minimum speed of 9000 key depression per hour on the computer, and must
possess thorough knowledge of Hindi and English and sufficient knowledge of
operating computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/-+
GP Rs.2800/-.

Assistant
Librarian: 01 post- Gene-01.
Required Qualification: A passed of Degree in law
and Diploma in Library science from a recognized University and must have basic
knowledge of Computer Operation.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/-+
GP Rs.4200/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 21 to 42 years as on 01-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 150/- by General & OBC and the candidates of SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen categories are to pay a fee of Rs. 60/-. The fee can be paid after two days of online registration in any branch of State Bank of India.
