NOTIFICATION: With the rapid expansion of the Indian Air Force during the fifties, the command and control structure needed to be reorganised. This reorganisation led to the formation of No 1 Operational Group at Calcutta on 27 May 1958. This group was responsible for the operations of the IAF in the eastern as well as the central sector of the country. Required Qualification: A passed of Class 12 / equivalent ability to take dictation at 80 words per minute for 10 minutes and transcript the same on computer within 50 minutes (if English) or 65 minutes (if Hindi).
2-Storekeeper: 1 post.
Required Qualification: A passed of Class 12 / equivalent and experience in the field.
3- Hindi Typist: 1 post.
Required Qualification: A passed of Class 12 or equivalent and Typing speed at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
4-Lower Division Clerk: 3 posts- UR-01, ST-1, OBC-01.
Required Qualification: A passed of Class 12 or equivalent and Typing speed at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
5-CMTD: 06 posts- UR-04, OBC-02.
Required Qualification: A passed of Class 10 and professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism shall possess valid driving license for heavy and light vehicle. Experience—Minimum two years of vehicle driving experience.
6-MTS: 39 posts- UR-19, SC-10, ST-02, OBC-08.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation/ equivalent. Desirable—one year experience as Watchman or Lascar or Mali is desirable.
7-Mess Staff: 13 posts- UR-07, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-03.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation/ equivalent with minimum 6 months experience in the trade.
8- Safaiwala: 11 posts- UR-05, SC-03, ST-01, OBC-02.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent.
9- Cook: 09 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation/ equivalent with minimum 6 months experience in the trade.
10- Dhobi: 1 post.
