NOTIFICATION: SAIL, a Maharatna Company, and a leading steel-making company in India with a turnover of Rs.49350 crore (FY 2012-13) is in the process of modernizing and expanding its production units, raw material resources and other facilities to maintain its dominant position in the Indian steel market. SAIL Durgapur was set up in the late 50's with an initial annual capacity of one million tonnes of crude steel per year, the capacity of Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) was later expanded to 1.6 million tonnes in the 70's. A massive modernisation programme was undertaken in the plant in early 90's, which, while bringing numerous technological developments in the plant, enhanced the capacity of the plant to 2.088 million tonnes of hot metal,1.8 million tonnes crude steel and 1.586 million tonnes saleable steel. The entire plant is covered under ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Matriculation with 03 year full time diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Computer/Instrumentation Engineering field from any recognized University/Institution.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 16800 – 24110/- per month.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s required age should not exceed 28 years as on 01-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 250/- as application and processing fee by the candidates belonging to General & OBC category will be required to pay through Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) and Rs. 50/- as processing fee only by Departmental Candidates to pay through pay in slip.
