REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1. Professor: A passed of Ph. D Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines/A Masters' Degree with at least 55 per cent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)/ A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience.
2. Associate Professor: A passed of Ph. D Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines/ A Masters' Degree with at least 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)/A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position.
3. Assistant Professor: A passed of Masters' Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university/ Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
4. Librarian: A passed of Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations/ At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or 18 years experience as a College Librarian. Evidence of innovation library service and organization of published work.
5. Deputy Librarian: A passed of Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale and consistently good academic record/5 year experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian/Evidence of innovation library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
REQUIRED AGE: No age bar is applicable for candidates.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
