NO.OF POSTS: 400 vacant posts of Medical Officers Short Service Commission (SSC) in Indian Army.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of medical qualification MBBS included in 1st /2nd Schedule or Part II of the 3rd Schedule of IMC Act 1956. Post graduate degree / diploma MD/MS/MCH/DM/DNB/DLO/DOMS/DA holders may also apply. Only those candidates who have completed their internship on or before 31-03-2015 must apply.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 17160-39100/-+Grade pay Rs. 6100/- +M S P Rs. 6000/-, Non-practicing allowance at the rate of 25% of the Basic Pay (Pay + Grade Pay + MSP) and Dearness Allowance (total emolument at min of Pay Scale at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 75000/- pm.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should not be more than 45 years as on 31-12-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable amount of Rs.200/- as an application fee to be paid by all Category candidates in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund) and payable at New Delhi.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: The shortlisted eligible candidates only will be selected on the basis of their performance in the personal Interview & Medical/Physical Standard status.
