REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Madhyamik Examination (Matriculation) from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any other Board recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
PAY SCALE: Rs.5,400 - 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,600/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Max required age should not exceed 27 years as on 01-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
1- Male Warder: Height —167cms (160cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and ST).
Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded) —78cms/83cms (76/81cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes).
Weight — Proportionate to height as per medical standard.
2- Female Warder: Height —160cms (152cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and ST).
Chest — Not applicable.
Weight — Proportionate to height as per medical standard.
NOTE: The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, squint eyes etc. The minimum vision should be 6/6 with or without glasses. They should possess high colour vision and should not be colour blind.
