PAY SCALE AND PROMOTIONS: Promotion from Sub-Lieutenant to Commander is one time scale basis subject to fulfilment of requisite service conditions.

SSC: Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance OR willingness of the candidate.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, personal interview (SSB) and medical test.
