NO.OF POSTS:     14 vacant posts of in Constables (Daftry) in Border Security Force (BSF).

PAY SCALE:    Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP- 2000/- per month.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:      A passed of 10th or equivalent from any recognized Board or Institutions.

REQUIRED AGE:  18 years to 27 years as on 24-06-2015.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE:         An Examination Fee of  Rs. 50/-by General & OBC applicants to be paid through a Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed given in notification.

POST RESERVATION:   Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:   Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, PST and Medical test -

Selection process:  Selection of applying candidates will be held in 2 phases as under -

A - First Phase:       In first phase candidates have to appear written exam which will be held in Hindi or English language.

B - Second Phase of The Examination:

a. Documentation - Candidates have to provide their Original testimonials/ certificates for verification.

b. Physical Standards Test (PST) -

• Height: As per details given below -

Men - 65 Cms. (Relaxable by 5 Cms for hill Tribes and Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas).

Women - 157 Cms.

• Chest: As per details given below -

Men - 76 – 81 Cms. (Relaxable by 02 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age).

Women - Not applicable.

• Weight: As per details given below -

Men - Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Women - According to height but not less than 46 Kgs.

c. Physical Efficiency Test-

• Run/Race: As per details given below -

Male - 1.6 Km in 7 minutes.

Female - 800 Mtrs in 05 minutes.

• Long Jump: As per details given below -

Male - 11 Feet ( 03 Chances to be given).

Female - 08 Feet ( 03 Chances to be given).

• High Jump: As per details given below -

Male - 7/2 Feet ( 03 Chances to be given).

Female - 5/2Feet ( 03 Chances to be given).

C -  Medical Test:   It is  a final round. Candidates who qualify in this round will be  recruited against these posts as per merit.
