NO.OF POSTS:     106 vacant posts Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Director Physical Education and Junior Research Officer in GB Pant University of Agricultural & Technology (GBPUAT) Pantnagar, Distt. Udham Singh Nagar.

1 - Assistant Professor:   96 posts.

Required Qualification:   A passed of Ph.D. /Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned or related field/ Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-able (Physically and visually differently-able) candidates.

2 - Assistant Librarian:    04 posts.

Required Qualification:   A passed of Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation or allied discipline with at least 60% marks or its equivalent. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-able) candidates.

3 - Assistant Director Physical Education:   03 posts.
Required Qualification:   A passed of Master’s degree in Physical Education with at least 60% marks or its equivalent/Participation in State/Zonal/All India Inter University or National level Games & Sports Competition in the concerned games. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-able (Physically and visually differently-able) candidates

4 - Junior Research Officer:    03 posts.

Required Qualification:   A passed of Master’s degree, NET(National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal.

PAY SCALE:    Rs. 15600-39100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-.

REQUIRED AGE:   As per UGC/University rules.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
