REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. Seaman: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent with 03 years Experience in required discipline.
2. Senior Deck Hand: A passed of 8th Standard with 05 years Experience in required discipline.
3. Sukhani: A passed of 8th Standard with 05 years Experience in required discipline.
4. Skipped Mate: A candidate must be from amongst Petty Officer and above of seaman branch in the Indian Navy or equivalent in the Coast Guard and adequate sea going small craft experience.
5. Engine Driver: A passed of 8th Standard with 05 years Experience.
6. Engineer Mate: A candidate must be from amongst Petty Office (Mechanical Engineers) equivalent and above in the India Navy / Coast Guard with minimum 5 years service in the post and with adequate experience in base Maintenance Unit / Small Unit.
7. Trades Man: A passed of ITI Certificate in Mechanic / Diesel / Mechanic / Fitter / Turner / Welder / Electrician / Instrumental / Carpentry with 2 years Experience.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
