REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Flying Branch: A passed of Graduates (Minimum 3 year degree course) in any discipline from any recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B. Tech degree (4 year course) from any recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
2. Technical Branch: A passed of 4 year degree qualification from any recognized University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.
3. Ground Duty Branch: As per details given below -
1. Administration and Logistics - A passed of Graduate Degree (Minimum 3 year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree/ equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
2. Accounts - A passed of Graduate Degree in Commerce (B. Com) (Minimum 3 year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M. Com)/CA/ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
3. Education - A passed of Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
REQUIRED AGE: As on 01-07-2016 -
1. Flying Branch: 20 - 24 years.
2. Technical & Ground Duty Branch: 20 - 26 years.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No Application Fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (applicable only for candidates applying for technical branch).
NOTE: All applicants whose applications are submitted by due date will be called for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (applicable only for candidates applying for technical branch) to be conducted on 13 September 2015 (Sunday) at one of the examination centres.
