PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/-+ Grade pay Rs.3800/-.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of full-time 3 years Diploma/ full-time Bachelor Engineering degree in concerned discipline with good academic records from well recognized University/Institute according to discipline.
REQUIRED AGE: 18 – 42 years as on 10-08-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non refundable application fee of Rs.150/- by Male General Category, Rs.75/- by Female General Category, Rs.35/- by Male SC/BC/SBC/EBP(G) Category of Haryana only and Rs.18/- by Female SC/BC/SBC/EBP(G) Category of Haryana only to be paid through a Chalan form at any branch of SBI.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, Skill Test and Viva Voce/Interview Test. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
WRITTEN TEST VENUE: The venue for the written test will be at Chandigarh/ Panchkula and Delhi.
PATTERN OF EXAM: Written Test shall be of Objective Type of 2 hours duration in English medium only, consisting of two parts -
1. Part-I consists of Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions of respective discipline.
2. Part-II consists of Aptitude Test 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency, Interpretation of graphs/charts/tables; numerical ability etc.
All questions carry equal marks. Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of 1/4.
